Charity field trip to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

For our 2018 charity field trip, Viet Australia has chosen to support needy families and households with handicapped people in Phước Hải commune, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu province.

The fact that numerous associations and groups have chosen to support the needy community in this commune has motivated Viet Australia to participate to their efforts to fight poverty and malnutrition at a local level and help a larger number of people.

Therefore on the morning of the 25th of May, our team arrived at the meeting hall of Phước Hải’s People’s Committee. Local people in need, informed of our charity action by the local authorities, were already there waiting for us.

After a brief introductory speech given by the Secretary of the People’s Committee, we have proceeded to the distribution of food and other material supplies to the people in need from Phước Hải.
