Almshouse charity project in Ben Tre province

On the 25th of August 2018 our Director General and a few members from Viet Australia’s Board of Management went to Ba Tri district in Ben Tre province so as to inaugurate an almshouse.

This day was the culmination point of a charitable housing project financed by Viet Australia which aimed at offering a house to two poor families that could not even afford the most basic housing in Ba Tri district.

As a gesture of appreciation for the help provided to the local needy people, the Ba Tri Fatherland Front sent us a letter of gratitude for Viet Australia’s donation stating “Viet Australia’s participation has helped those families in overcoming their difficulties, it is a great source of support for them to strive for a better life.”
