Prime Minister has just issued Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of certain policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic...

For example, for the employees who stop working, will be supported when they fully meet the following conditions:

- Having labor contract, they are suspended from work under Clause 3, Article 99 of the Labor Code (Labour Code) 2019;

- Subject to medical quarantine or in blocked areas at the request of state agencies for 14 days or more from May 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021 ;

- Participating in compulsory social insurance in the month preceding the month the employee stops working according to Clause 3, Article 99 of the Labor Code.

Procedures will be carried out by the employer, the application file includes:

- A copy of the request for quarantine of the state agencies from May 1, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021;

- List of employees certified by social insurance according to Form No. 06 in the Appendix issued with this Decision.

- A certified copy or a copy enclosed with the original for comparison in the following cases:

+ Being pregnant: Proof of pregnancy.

+ Being raising a natural or adopted child or taking care of a child under 6 years old: Birth certificate or birth certificate of the child/Certificate of adoption/Decision on delivery, receipt, and alternative care of the child.

Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg takes effect from 7/7/2021.
