On Saturday, December 20, 2025, Viet Australia Auditing Company (VAAL), in collaboration with Smart Train Academy, successfully organized the training workshop with the subject “Guidance on the Accounting Regime for Business Enterprises under Circular No. 99/2025/TT-BTC” at the Conference Center, 272 Vo Thi Sau Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Circular No. 99/2025/TT-BTC is considered an important milestone in Vietnam’s accounting policy, reflecting a shift toward a more modern management approach that enhances corporate autonomy while strengthening accountability, and gradually aligns with international practices. The organization of this in-depth training program aimed to help accounting and finance professionals promptly grasp the spirit of the Circular, gain a clear understanding of its substance, and be well prepared for effective application in practice.
The workshop was directly conducted by Mr. Trinh Duc Vinh, Deputy Director of the Accounting and Auditing Supervision Department (Ministry of Finance), Chairman of the Vietnam Chief Accountants and Chief Financial Officers Forum. Notably, Mr. Vinh was directly involved in drafting Circular No. 99/2025/TT-BTC. Therefore, his presentations went beyond theory and provided strong practical value, helping participants better understand the background, policy-making mindset, and flexible application of the Circular across different business models.

The workshop was honored to welcome the leaders of both organizing units. Representing VAAL were Mr. Pham Quoc Hai, Chairman and General Director; Mr. Le Quoc Hieu, Founder and Mr. Le Van Hoa, Deputy General Director. Representing Smart Train Academy were Mr. Pham Ngoc Hoang Thanh, General Director, and Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Mui, Deputy General Director.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Van Hoa, on behalf of the organizers, emphasized that VAAL always accompanies the Ministry of Finance and regulatory authorities with the goal of improving financial governance quality and compliance among enterprises. He also affirmed that VAAL and Smart Train share the same training philosophy of “understanding correctly – being able to do – being able to apply,” with practical applicability at the core of all training programs.

Following the opening session, Mr. Trinh Duc Vinh devoted time to in-depth presentations and interactive discussions with participants. The training atmosphere was both professional and open, featuring numerous practical questions related to the application of Circular No. 99 in corporate accounting activities. The program attracted more than 300 participants attending both onsite and online, demonstrating the strong interest of the accounting and finance community in the significant changes introduced by the new accounting policy.

At the conclusion of the program, on behalf of the organizers, Mr. Le Quoc Hieu expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Trinh Duc Vinh for his valuable support and heartfelt sharing. He recalled that more than 20 years ago, their meetings in Hanoi were simple and informal, while today they meet again in formal business attire; yet the trust and friendship between them remain unchanged. This enduring relationship continues to serve as a solid foundation for long-term cooperation and the positive values shared with the professional community.

Amid the lively atmosphere of the Christmas and New Year season and the busy year-end period, the participation of all attendees was a great source of encouragement for the Organization Team. VAAL sincerely thanks all participants for their trust and support and hopes that the knowledge gained from the program will soon be effectively applied in daily practice. For any questions or concerns arising after the program, VAAL is always ready to accompany and provide support.

On the occasion of Christmas and New Year, the Organization Team wishes all participants and partners a peaceful Christmas, good health, and renewed energy to successfully complete year-end workloads and confidently move forward on the journeys ahead.
