Inauguration of Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital
On February 25, 2023, the People’s Committee of Tien Giang Province held the inauguration ceremony of the Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital—a Category I, Group A key healthcare project with a capacity of 1,000 beds.
The project was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 495/QĐ-TTg dated April 15, 2017, with a total investment of VND 2,350 billion (including VND 1,750 billion from government bonds and VND 600 billion from the provincial budget). It is located on a 10-hectare site in My Tho City.
The hospital is comprehensively equipped with modern infrastructure and medical facilities, aiming to improve healthcare services for residents of the Mekong Delta region, and marking a significant advancement in the healthcare sector of Tien Giang Province.
